Been there, done that....
About 35 years ago Tom Bradshaw gave me a great pair of Dunlop picks hand engraved by Jim Dunlop.
My little boy dropped one down the heating vent in the floor while playing army and didn't tell me for years.
The other I treasured and used until it broke across the width next to the holes last year.
I took it to my favorite jewelry shop in Saigon where a guy there welded it and then buffed it out for free.
You can see the weld in the photo....
Maybe if you know someone like that?
I use a pair of needle nose players when bending to create a gentle bend in new picks.
Good luck,
Andy

Yup, was worth fixing even if I had to pay.
I no longer use it because I like the old simple National finger picks best because they seem to stay on better without slipping off.

That's a great pick. I also use needle nose pliers. In fact, I carry a pair in my pak-a-seat.

I wonder if anybody else ever had the same pick for 35 years.
I used it all the time until it broke a couple of years ago.
Thats when I switched to National and they do seem to stay on better.
Now will just keep that Dunlop in a safe place of honor.

I was planning on that....
Maybe on my middle finger (Where it spent so much time already) and bar in the other hand to make a good looking body.

I'm getting buried in a Zoot Suit. But the fingerpicks would add a nice touch!

Double duty Erv. Jumping from steel to Tele. With the short blade on my thumbpick, I can grip the two-sided pick just like a flatpick, and do everything that you can do with a flatpick, like Doc's "Black Mountain Rag" (Flatpick) and instantly go into "Ticklin'The Strings"(fingerpick). Opened up a lot of interesting doors for me on Tele, and I didn't have to keep putting on and taking off my picks. I even fingerpick Gatton tunes. Been fingerpicking since about 1959 You can brush nice chords on steel too. Brush a chord and still have your thumb free for a lower string. Believe me, there's a lot you can do with that two-sided pick!
...

I thought I was the only poor player jumping from pedal steel to guitar while the drummer is counting in..

Nope, I bounce back and forth all night too from steel to tele.
I do wish they'd make a set list so I'd know what's coming next Sad

Tried them. Couldn't throw them away fast enough.

I use National .026 and have a bunch of sets I use and they are all the same because I don't bend the front tang at all, only the part that wraps around the finger with needle nose pliers.
I file my thumb picks and measure the length with a digital caliper so they are all the same. Works for me because I lose small stuff.

I know I've recommended these picks to others In the past but I cannot say enough good about them.

https://www.elderly.com/bob-perry-power-plus-pick-95784.htm

They fit me Almost perfectly without adjusting. They are definitely the most comfortable picks I have used to date. I have a box of different styles and brands. These are winners. Do not be swayed by the price. You do get what you pay for!

Good news. I finally retired that broken pick this week. I got some Newman BF picks from a forumite. I played with them at a gig last night. Went well.
