does anybody know what speakers fender twin amps used or a good new speaker for fender twin for lead guitar thanks

Hello Wayne;
I have seen Fender Twin Reverb amps from the mid '60's onward use Oxford, Jensen, JBL, & Eminence speakers.

The older speakers sound great but they are old now & some do not hold up. Also there is weight to consider too.
If you do not care about weight then the JBL's are great.

If weight is a consideration there are several new neo speakers on the market now available in 12" or 15".
