i bet it's the same steel with added pickup.

The two-pickup video steel appears to have much more space between the end of the fretboard and the changer to allow for the added pickup. Also, the armrest is different, with a design shaped to allow for the addition of the knobs..

Is it possible that the pickup was added later and the pad and controls were also added later?

It's like the trombone. I make the dog jump when I play that."

She's a steel player now.

I think she's so cool and like this new direction; she gives it a lot of energy.

It appears she's still grappling there with the dulcimer, the tone stick in her right hand; maybe it's a lollipop--no wait, it's her pick.
I hope to hear what she does with the steel ukulele.

Let me just add that Cyndi still has a large fan base, that gig probably pays well, and we're all supposed to be pros. If Metallica called me for a date or a string of dates I'd do it. Otherwise, psg will be marginalized. It's nothing new, Ralph Emory gave Lloyd hell for working with the Byrds. Funny how that works, 50 years ago Gram Parsons was the devil, now regarded as a saint....

She came to one of my shows once, and she really enjoyed the music. She was cool, and very gracious.

It was us, the blind boys of Alabama, Jim Lauderdale , Jamey Johnson, and Charlie Musslewhite. She was a music fan. Very accepting and enthusiastic about all the different artists, a true music fan. Maybe we could be as open minded.

She was very sweet, and down to earth. Thickest New York accent I've ever heard !

She was great to hang out with. I'd bet being in her band is really fun.

From July last year, looks like the fiddle part was played on keyboards. The camera in the crowd was searching for our instrument, or so it seems Surprised

I've always loved Cyndi. She's HOTT as hell, and has a gorgeous, 4 octave voice. No one in the pop world can touch her vocally.
And, I LOVE girls with a heavy Brooklyn accent!
