Lee, thanks for sharing that song.
William does a great job playing that song.
He has the tab for the song available on his website.
You can learn to play it just like he plays on the video.

Hey Larry,
I remember when we did this song back in 2015. Great to have the render and techniques on it! Always nice to hear William's rendition. Thanks for posting.

George

I'm new to this website and I love it! Wonderful group of guys and gals that add so much to the world of steel guitar playing. I'm also a newbie to the Pedal Steel--which means I don't have a clue what's going on. Picked a little on lap steel but this PS is an intimidating BEAST for me to learn. I bought a beginner PS few years back. Watched hundreds of YouTube videos--picked up tabs of all kinds. The instrument proved to me totally frustrating--stuck in the attic. Never heard of William Litaker b/4. Never heard him play. I just stumbled arross his website one day. I heard him say, " it ain't easy playing this thing without learning Technique and that Right Hand." I joined his weekly (every Saturday live) instruction. Most comprehensive and learning tool I could have ever gotten my hands on. His Technique Exercise which he ponds on in each episode is the Holy Grahl in learning to play this thing.
To me, when I crawl in and sit behind the PS, it is like climbing in an airplane cockpit. No mater how seasoned the pilot or how many accumulated hours logged, if that pilot does NOT incorporate technique (and check list), the possibility of a crash and burn is there. Same on stage with a band beside you. Without the proper technique and that right hand executing, the chance of that band to crash and burn is real (and for the audience, too).
I have since bought me an Emmons Elgrande III. Will I ever be able to play as well as William? NOPE!! But, I love playing and learning ever much as William does! Technique Exercises, Right Hand, Practice. Thanks William and to this awesome website!!!!
