I randomly came across this long out of print LP today. The download works but if I was on a PC, I'd definitely run virus protection first thing after downloading. Not the first guy one thinks of where it comes to Hawaiian music but a good player nonetheless.

Thanks! Always loved that cover photo. Dig that Gibson CG-520(30?) he's playing Smile

I've been buying and dubbing some old LPs lately, I wouldn't mind finding an actual copy of this.

Very nice. I'd like to hear some reverb on the steel, but overall his playing is really sweet.

Yup I think reverb would add a lot to the extremely dry sound at least to the sustain.

I couldnt get it to download...I guess I have to sign up or register ? I was hesitant to do that, but I would like to hear what it sounds like.

That track is also on another LP: London Records (part of Decca) HA-B-8269, Stars of the Steel Guitar.

I really enjoyed that a lot ! I understand about the sound without reverb, but I still liked it...nice tone I thought and good playing, of course.
Thanks for your help Brad.
