So I'm in Longboat Key, FL on vacation. Playing tracks from Pink Sportcoat, 3/4 Time and A1A. I like the early Buffet. Had these records when they first came out. Doyle plays some incredible steel, with outstanding tone! Always been some of my favorite steel playing.
If you havent heard these or its been awhile, take a listen.

Mike,
Great stuff, those three albums are what hooked me on pedal steel, also liked 'Changes in Latitude', but the steel was gone, thank goodness that Jimmy brought Doyle back into the fold years later.
Funny thing is that in the album credits, his name is spelled Grisham, and sometimes Gresham, He has a great style that I will always love. _________________ Regards, Craig

Just got back from seeing Jimmy Buffett at The Wharf, Orange Beach, AL. It's the "I Don't Know Tour 201?".
FANTASTIC!!!
Doyle was smooth as ever! He was playing his GFI D10 (The "I Don't Know Steel") and an acoustic Dobro. He got put up on the video screens a lot.
We got soaked during the the last 20 minutes of the show but no matter. The Coral Reefers are one hot band.
Mike K, it should be a great show. Enjoy them! _________________ Tony
