I had no idea Tom Brumley's father and brothers were so famous in the world of American gospel music. Lots of info here if you haven't seen it before.

Yes, Tom's dad, Albert, was a very prolific writer of gospel music. |

I recall a John Hartford solo performance I attended in the 70s.
He introduced the song Turn Your Radio On by saying, "this is a song written by Ricky Nelson's steel guitar player's father." |
