Can anyone tell me how I determine pot values on an old Peavey Pacer? The volume pot and the master both need replacing. Volume pot is terribly scratchy even after deox and master doesn't do much of anything. Amp powers up fine and volume knob gives big sound but with big scratch and intermittence. Would like to change them both. Any help appreciated.

There are three ways I can think of:
1) read the numbers on the pots, Google them
2) Google "Peavey Pacer schematic", and download it, get the values from it.
3) email Mike Brown, and ask him, get answer tomorrow.

10k volume
50k master

I'll check my stock, I may have them. Also you should check with Peavey as well. These are referred to as "crows foot" mounting.

Wow thanks Ken. I had a feeling they were different values. If you have them I would love to buy them. This is my second Pacer, an antique mall rescue. Only paid 35$ for it so don't mind putting a little work into it. It's a fun guitar amp, lo fi garage rock sound, kinda nice with front pickup for jazz/swing rhythm. Use my other one all the time in rockabilly/country band. It sits on top of LTD 400 I use for D8 steel. Kinda dig having them together as they are related and all. Workhorses. Gig with them every weekend.

Checked my old stock. All I have are some 10K linear (used on Nashville 400 amps as a tone pot). Not sure if yours were linear (I suspect they were).
