Push-pull bell-cranks are pretty darn hard to find. So, here's a new one that I had never heard about them. That is, (I know it sounds crazy) one can find them in some old, non-electric, National cash registers made in the early 60's or, perhaps, a little before that.

At first I thought it was an off-the-wall piece of info. But then I remembered once seeing the inside of such a machine with its thousands of parts. It would seem that, yes, depressing a register key could require such a bellcrank? And maybe Emmons got theirs from the same supplier?

I don't know, anybody heard such a thing, too?
