Here we have a striking Art Deco Sunburst Maple-and-Engelmann Jumbo from Pellerin Guitars. To say the voice is huge would be, well, a cruel understatement. This Pellerin rattles your teeth from 20 feet away!

Michel's eye for detail is hawk-like in its precision: the art deco sunburst ties together Engelmann Spruce, Bird's Eye Maple, Wenge, and Indian Rosewood for an elegant, high-gloss polyurethane package. The bass strings add an intense splash of depth to this Jumbo's voice, with fat and colorful tones that hang in the air for long seconds. Lowered into DADGAD and beyond, this Pellerin maintains an excellent string-to-string balance that worked beautifully for flatpicks, but was delicate enough to allow fingerstyle passages to shine as well.
