1962 Fender Deluxe 6G3 GZ34 15w 12" 8Ω Oxford 12K5-6
All original transformers, tolex, grill cloth, knobs, hardware, etc. Both transformers have matching date codes: 606236 $2850 plus shipping, via Paypal.

Amp had been serviced prior to my purchase, including conversion to a grounded, 3-way plug. The original Oxford speaker is intact. The amp sounds GREAT. Everything works as it should.

The 6G3 Deluxe is a whole other animal than what you’d expect to hear from a small-box amp. Often called the “Mini-Marshall,” they have a tight, punchy and muscular grind that morphs into a rich, singing, sustaining lead tone when cranked. Billy Gibbons, Joe Bonamassa and Seymour Duncan are all known to be fans of the brown Deluxe. It doesn’t sound like any other Fender from any era. Forget sparkling clean tones and playing surf or country, this thing rocks. Hard. In my humble opinion, these are one of the most underrated (and undervalued) Fender amps of all time. This amp will blow the doors off a 5E3 tweed Deluxe. No contest.

Tolex is in mostly excellent condition with a few dings and dents but no bald corners, all seams still intact and with zero water damage. The grill cloth is original and in good shape with a few tiny snags and vintage patina, but is nice, tight and straight. Original speaker wires and jack.

You should call Neil Young but it might be too new for him.
