Jim, I had a Sierra S14 just like this one, except that it was 8p/7K. The tuners on this were the first version of Sierra's keyless design. Mine was built in 1983. I met Bill Stafford at the Texas Steel Convention some years back and he said it was likely that he built mine when he worked for Sierra. It's possible that he built your guitar, too. Anyway, mine was an excellent guitar with great tone and made for a great touring guitar, except for the weight.

Best wishes to both the buyer and the seller for a quick sale.

Keep on pickin'!
Glenn

bump for a great guitar.
For gosh sakes, you can remove 2 strings for an awesome U-12, or 4 strings for a killer E-9.

That is one beautiful steel, so nice to look at in white. My U14 keyless is blue, about the same vintage, also built by Bill Stafford. It's my long term project for when I get the courage to make the jump, but I will string it differently, remove the re-entrant feature and fit a variant of Zane King's E6/9 tuning.

Yes, that is a LOT of guitar. I had the second 14 string built by Sierra and even in 1978 that was a lot of guitar.
