I'm looking for a Marlen pedal rod. Not sure what the age of the rod would be, but something that would match the pictures. Does anyone have one?

I've got a couple rods with a similar hooks on the end.
Do you how long it needs to be? |

My Marlen pedal rods are aluminum and have those spring loaded connectors at both ends. Your rod looks more like a third-style Emmons rod. _________________ Chris Lucker

Are you saying that this is not a Marlen rod? _________________ Mark Wayne Krutke

I have had three Marlens, and none had your Emmons-looking rods.
That being said, I have a January 1964 Emmons that was built with some Marlen parts.
To what kind of fitting do your pedal rods connect? A notch or a nipple or a hole? _________________ Chris Lucker

Chris - the rod attaches to a ball-type connector.
John - Yes, I contacted Michael and will order one through him. It's for a Marlen U12 that I'll be selling. _________________ Mark Wayne Krutke

I meant how does it to connect at the cross shaft crank? Does the hook go into a hole, around a notch, or is there a nipple there too? _________________ Chris Lucker

Michael Yahl is a great asset to the pedal steel guitar world.
He machines great parts, sources important parts for us and provides service swiftly at a great price. Sometimes you may need to wait to have him machine some specific pieces, but you can be confident you will get quality replacement parts at a great value. _________________ Chris Lucker
