I am selling my 1982 Yamaha Sa-800 which I bought on the Forum a few years back. This guitar was made in Japan and the quality is higher than similar Yamaha's manufactured elsewhere. This is a nice guitar and is a pretty good ES-335 clone for a fraction of the Gibson price.
Ask anyone who owns one.

I would like $750. plus shipping.

At some point (before my time) there were other tuners on it, but the Yamaha tuners are back on it. Comes with the original case.

Guys, I sold this guitar to Joe several years ago, and she's a honey.. Plays great, never goes out of tune, and has big sustain, and a fat sweet sound..It really was a great low priced alternative to a Gibson 335. Yamaha MIJ guitars are well known for their remarkable build quality, and this old girl is NO exception. Joe is a good guy to deal with!.. bob

I have an early 80's SA1000, looks just like a ES 335, with the body binding and Trapazoid neck inlay. Mine is one fantastic playing guitar and I would never part with it. These high end MIJ Yamaha's are every bit as good as their USA counterparts, plus, I know from experience, the headstock will not break if it happens to take a nasty spill. If you don't have the big bucks for a Gibson, I am certain this guitar will not disapoint.
