Have you tried changing the orientation of the guitar?

I was able to get rid of 99% of single coil pickup hum by lying on my back in the middle of the room with the Sho-Bud resting across my abdomen.

LOL that is awesome. One step further than Robert Randolph.

IF laying on my back works, I just might become the Jerry Lee Lewis of the Pedal Steel. Might even get paid a little more. Thanks everyone for all your input.

Pyle Pro PHE 400 works very well. It is 2 channel and sells for $24.95 on Amazon. They have a single channel for less than that.

Setting it on fire will also eliminate hum...and bring your performance to a new level. Worked for Jerry Lee....and Jimi!

Looking at the reviews I would stay away unless there was a unit to actually try out in person. Too many upset people for me.

This type of problem is exacerbated by lighting dimmers and proximity to things like computers and neon signs. It could be that your solar panel are increasing the noise.

Solar panels make DC. It's conceivable that the inverter might give off hum, but I'd hope modern gear is quiet.

Don't have to worry about solar panels for me. With less than 65 days sunlight annually.

Laughing

Are you too tanned?
Maybe overexposed to sunlight?
Come to London!!

Invert your tan.
