What did we all decide was the best??? an amp with headphone out-- or a headphone amp ? I have a Fender Champion 20 with a jack,,but it seems low on power for lasting notes and swells. Does the ratio of power for headphones, follow the output power of the amp? More is more??

Some practice amps (probably many of them) with headphone jacks limit/reduce the volume available to the headphones to protect your ears -- and protect them from lawsuits.

I prefer a headphone amp because then you can have stereo reverb. I hate the totally mono feel of the guitar lodged in the skull.

The Nashville 112 has a headphone jack that works great. Also the Roland Cubes have it.

Wow! That is funny... Laughing

I totally agree. I use the headphone jack on my mixer that combines my steel and CD or other media. But, I would also agree that a headphone amp is good, too.
