I'm very happy with my Steeler's Choice, and also have heard nothing but praise for Joe Naylor's products as well.

I have two Steelers Choice Sidekick models which are my go to seats, and I also have one of Joe Naylors "lite" seats for flying gigs - they all work perfectly on my bum !!! :-}

My simple Tama drum seat is stable, supportive, and height adjustable. It took a bunch of loc-tite to keep the seat from rotating. I would probably like a real steel seat a lot more, but right now weight is a paramount concern for me.
