I was wondering how the Reverbolux worked without springs or tape. A little googling shows that it's one of those "oil can" delays, using the same Tel-Ray can that the Morley units used. Pretty wild concept for a guitar effect. I've never heard one live. The one in this video appears to be broken as the knobs don't have any effect.

i also have a Custom XV without reverb and tremolo. If I ever find one that does I'll buy it in a second! Best amp I've ever owned. |

| I have a '65 Standel Imperial XII speaker cabinet with a pair of JBL's that I play though at home.Unfortunately I don't have the amp head. I use it with eather a Peavey XR 680 PA head or a Sunn 200S. I found it in the basement of the music store I used to manage that back in the day, was a Standel dealer.What a great sounding cab!!! |
