There is a unused spring you can see on the Keyhead side. This change was made before i received the guitar. I think it might have been used to lower the 12th string originally.

Hi Gordon,

Do you happen to know how many pedals and levers can be added to this beauty? I was looking into getting a lightweight steel for some upcoming road work a few years ago and the Blackjack was on my short-list. If my recollection is correct, the Blackjack was somewhat limited on how many additions Jackson could put on them. I ended up getting a different brand, super happy with it, pretty much instant love. But I do still love the two old 'Buds I have, and think the Jackson family have done an astounding job of honoring Shot's legacy while also doing some serious rethinking and improvements on the mechanics, materials, machining... Plus they sound truly resplendent to my ear.
