This is Cage @ his best, here!

REALLY, playing some "crying" steel. Perfect harmonics, volume pedal technique, etc.

I'm really glad I happened to find this one YouTube.

A great lesson to back up a singer and harmonica player. Very unobtrusive and spot on. Thanks for posting this, David!

I'm a fan of Rick Danko and Buddy Cage. This is lame.

Cage jams along gamely but doesn't know most of the songs, much less the off-the-cuff "arrangements" Danko tries to do here.

Danko sounds bored and overcome by the addictions that would end his life.

And who is it doing the whiney, out-of-tune vocal "harmonies"?

Gadzooks.

To me, this music is a total bummer. Too bad these guys didn't get it together.

I'm very sorry I upset you, Andrew...from wherever you actually are.

Not trying to stir things up...but, your critique & judgement of this show, is extremely wrong, IMO.

Anyway, I consider this show to be an awesome show...especially, Buddy Cage here. He is so underrated to most on the forum, that it's sad. Listen to this closely, in its entirety. Buddy is playing some SWEET steel here!! His tone, harmonics, volume pedal technique...are as smooth as it gets. That's why I posted this. If I could play THAT smoothly (especially his volume pedal technique & control)...I would be very happy.

I wish Rick Danko was still here...& I worry about Cage, regarding his battle with...cancer. What an epidemic this damn disease has become!!

Peace.
