this amazing guitar is at the shop for the change of setup from Day to Emmons...it will have E's on the left knee, with standard Emmons ABC pedals...

Ah, well - there goes my last connection with it.

My first good steel was a 'Day' set-up ZB just like this one (well, perhaps not mechanically as good but...) and it makes me feel nostalgic.

If it's good enough for TW it's far too good for me! Smile

Roger, forum member Henry Matthews has the guitar right now, he plays Day setup, he can give you more info about this great instrument, he will either keep it, or change it to Emmons setup, and ship it back to me...

Roger, when I saw the pics of this ZB, I thought what a beautiful guitar but you can't imagine how this guitar really looks until you see it. It is better than the pics. I haven't had a chance to play it yet but I'm betting it plays and sounds as good as it looks. I'll keep all posted on how it plays. Had a couple push pulls been working on so haven't had the chance. Can't wait to sit down at this guitar tomorrow after work.

Henry, I have never, in 30 years, seen another ZB like this one ... when Tommy opened the case, I could have not believed my eyes ... someone here is going to miss on a gorgeous instrument ...

Just got thru setting this guitar up and plugged in and all I can say is WOW, it plays easy and sounds awesome. Billy Knowles really did an awesome job on this guitar. It's like new all over and plays really true and positive. It was even in perfect tune, never had to touch it and it's right on the money. With the selector switches, you can really get whatever tone you want.

Henry, make a video or two, and post it on YouTube ... maybe take it to the gig and make a video, that would be super cool, there is a very few ZB videos on YouTube that I could find...
