I want to rig a tone pot just to the right end of the C6 neck changer on my BMI D10 to operate by hand like the vintage swing guys did on their fenders. It'll be mounted on a removable clamp on thing I've yet to design. I'm not high tech but know some basics. I want to make sure the tonal range is as close to pure 'by-pass' signal as possible to very dark. And a real by-pass switch would be desirable to switch off completely when not in use.
This site below looks to have something that might work well. Any advice or tips would be great. Thanks!

ps- the volume/tone pedals just don't apply well when sitting down on PSG.

Just bumping this post. I was thinking same thing after watching that Noel Boggs clip where he sounds just like a train.
