I paused my online subscription to Will's weekly lessons a couple months ago because I took a break from playing steel, but then I started seeing/hearing some of the great stuff he's doing for only $5 a week, and it inspired me so much I had to rejoin, and I'm glad I did.
Man, he's got to be the best deal on the web, and even if I can't always keep up with all the extras he gives away in his lessons, it never seems to fail that I pick up a morsel or two that I can use at every show.
Thanks Will, I'll be with you for a while Buddy and I strongly recommend others give it a try. Cheaper than a cup of Starbucks and worth many times over.

Agreed. I am a couple weeks behind right now with Williams webcast, but just this morning watched the part on crossing from thumb finger thumb finger for the little scale runs. Very helpful. I'm Still having fun finishing with "old country". Thanks William. _________________ Derby SD10, Peavey Session 400 |

I agree 100 percent I'm sure glad I join, I just wished I had did it sooner,
I appreciate what William does and I'm in it for the long haul.
For the price you can't afford not too. For all that he gives you.. _________________ Steve Cagle |

William shows you licks you can use in many songs and how to apply them, not just Herr this lick or that one. Worth more than you pay for.
Well that is my $20 a months worth.

I signed up about a month ago. I'm pretty much a beginner on steel (I've played fiddle in bands for 40 years). I get something I can use right away from every lesson, along with a bunch of stuff to come back to and practice later. It's working well for me.
Also, I picked up his "Money Intros" video. Great stuff you apply or adapt to songs you're already playing. Check it out:

What everyone else said.
Great instruction, low price, take the lesson at your convenience and become a better player. As good as it gets. _________________ Justice Pro Lite (4-5), Justice D-10 (8-5)x2 , Quilter Steelaire, Hilton Pedal, BJ's bar. |

William's still the best deal around. Love the weekly technique exercises, intros, and monthly songs. Worth every penny.

I really like the " Statue of a fool" intro that was from a few weeks back. There is lots of material in these lessons for sure. Did William post a full version of himself playing "Old Country"? My timing is still off at the ending. _________________ Derby SD10, Peavey Session 400 |

I just rejoined this week. Great lesson William. The turnaround this week was great. I've had the intro down pretty good and now I know the turnaround too! Great stuff! _________________ 1967 Emmons Bolt On, 1995 Mullen PRP 3x5,Nashville 112, JOYO Digital Delay, Goodrich Volume Pedal, Livesteel Strings |
