I'm not sure this has made it to the Forum yet. Posted by John Macy on Facebook yesterday:

Ok, the cats are outta the bag...I'm headed to Nashville the first week of May to produce an instrumental record version of the "Sweetheart of the Rodeo" record by the Byrds, for two of my heroes and the original steel guitarists on the record, Lloyd Green and Jay Dee Maness...recording at Wayne Moss's Cinderella Sound with a stellar rhythm section of Russ Pahl, Dennis Crouch and John Gardner, with a few special guests to be announced. Will be coming out on my Coastal Bend Music label this summer, with a very interesting release party/show to be announced. Excited is the biggest understatement I can imagine... we will also be hosting an open house/hang/meet and greet Saturday afternoon May 6th in Nashville (location TBA) with Lloyd and Jay Dee open to all. Not often these two guys are under the same roof so stop by!

Wow, this should be a very rewarding project! Hopefully, John, through his Coastal Bend Music label, will keep us posted as to how one can obtain a copy of this awesome recording.
