I have bought a Stringmaster with 3 necks and need information on string gauges. It has 26" necks and I want A6 , C6 and probably an E tuning. I haven't received it yet but think it has the Bass neck on top but plan on changing that with a Stringmaster nut I have, otherwise I may go with some type of Bass tuning. Any information will be appreciated..

Maybe start here 'til someone else comes along. http://www.hawaiiansteel.com/learning/gauges.php

See Michael Lee Allen's Bigsby 60 post just a few down this page for some tuning suggestions too.

John,
Take a look at the C#m7th tuning. When I was playing a T-8 Stringmaster, that was one of my tunings. Very Happy

Thanks for the help, I think with what John Ely has out there I'll be able to get it going.

If I had a triple, I'd have a C6, C#m7, and B11 neck, but that's just me.

There's an Ernie Ball string gauge calculator out there somewhere that helps figure the gauges for each tuning.
