it is actually a good album! I am playing a gig Sunday night as a bass-player and we'll be covering "the Creator has a master plan" as played on this album. As I heard the intro I thought "thats a steel" and then an email arrived from our guitarist: "is that a steel ... can you play that? I'll take the bass role for you"! My answer is hopefully I'll do better because the steel solo is pretty awful!

The album is by the Afro Semitic Experience and it's a little "out there"! But you'll find pepperings of lap steel and resonator guitars and somehow ... well it's kind of growing on me. I have a feeling Mike Neer is going to like it too!
