Heading to Nashville for work in June. I decided to go a couple of days early so I can catch the Time Jumpers in the natural habitat (and other great music as recommended here on the forum). Already got my ticket. So, I see that 3rd and Lindsley opens at 5, and the show is at 8. Any advice on how early I need to get there if I want to get a good seat near the stage? I'm not sure I could occupy myself for three hours (much less keep the drinks going to justify holding a table that long).

Advice appreciated.

Dan

When I went a year ago, I thought I would get there at six. Only tables left were in the balcony. Get there when the doors open and bring a crossword puzzle to occupy you time.

I've been several times; if you want a good seat, get in line before the doors open. Take someone with you so you will have someone to talk to. They have good food, so plan on eating and chatting for a while; it is surprising how fast the time flies (jumps?) when you are eating and talking.

There's just nothing better than hearing Paul play with these monster musicians. All the waiting and eating bar food will be more than worth it.

Have a great time,

David Spires
