A very interesting tuning on this. Standard E9 10 string but with 6 and 5 giving access to some C6th-style voicings by virtue of the extra pedals. (There is actually a sixth centrally-mounted vertical lever but although it has pull-rods I can't see what it's doing as they're 'wound off'.)

I have to let it go because I can't change the knee-lever functions to suit my set-up without detracting from its universal capabilities.

It has a 'Day' set-up but the 5/10 lower has to be on LKL which is why I can't use the guitar.

The first three pedals are standard 'Day'. Es raise to F on LKR, Bs lowered on LKL, Es lowered on RKL and RKR is standard 2/9 lower.

It's in very nice condition and comes with a Thomas case. $2400.00 and you pay shipping. PayPal if you pay the charges. I'll be driving north in May through FL, GA, TN, KY, IL, MO, IA and into the Dakotas so shipping could perhaps be avoided.

The third picture shows the carbon-twill style mica finish.

Contact me for the full copedant. To be honest I don't fully understand its potential but I've had fun looking around for stuff.

Several inquiries for the copedant so here it is:

P1 - Raises 4 & 5
P2 - Raises 3 & 6
P3 - Raises 5 & 10
(Standard 'Day' pedals)
P4 - Lowers 2 to D, lowers 7 to F
P5 - Raises 4 to F, lowers 8 to D
P6 - Raises 5 to C# and 6 to A# (C6 pedal 7?)

LKL - Lowers 5 & 10
LKR - Raises 4 & 8
RKL - Lowers 4 & 8
RKR - Lowers 2 and 9 (standard changes)
Centrally-mounted:
CKR - Raises 6 to A and 10 to C
CKV - Has 2 rods that seem to be hooked to 1 and 2 but they're not tuned.

Here's a view of the front apron.

Yes, it's a kind of carbon-twill (as I said in my first post).

I'm reliably informed that this is a Zum S-10 on an extended frame, not an SD-10.

Thanks.

My God - Where did you get that thing? What a guitar! I wonder if the vertical lever hooked up to strings 1 and 2 was to raise them for the unison lick.

I don't know, Richard. That would be a possibility but I never was able to get comfortable playing it because of the E-lowers being RKL and B lowers on LKL. If I had reassigned pulls I think the 'universal' capability would have been compromised and that would be a pity.

So I didn't even get as far as tuning those rods to see what they did.

This fine guitar should reach its new owner today!
