Hey Duane,
I went ahead and bought a mustang lll, after hearing the sound bites Don posted using both the Mustang & Peavey Nashville 1000...
Just got it Thursday so I'm still tweaking it but I found a couple of amps I liked the Bassman & deluxe cut back the gain & treble ( gain 2 treble 4-5 ) mids on 4-5, bass on 7-8 changed the reverb( large room ) & added mono delay just barely on for a warmer tone can only hear the repeats if you catch the string ..If you have any that you have edited on your's that you think sounds really good please let me know your settings.
Thanks Bruce |

i thank any amp that has at least a 12 inch speaker it can be the cheapest amp they are it can be a sears rotot silvertone or or just any brand long thats it quiet and has a volume bass and tremble knob reverb would be nice if it dont you could use no reverb or use a reverb or delay pedal dont have to have many watts at all if it dont turn volume wide open alot of times you can get just as good and often get better tone and sweeter sound out of a cheap old amp. |
