Yes it will. Use the long mount tabs on the ends instead of the wide mount tabs on the sides.

I actually tried to put a George L pickup in my Super Pro many years ago now and found the body of the pickup wouldn't quite fit in the pickup cavity. I didn't want to alter the guitar so I returned the pickup to the seller--but I had to put it on consignment because I had already snipped off the wide-mount tabs.

Probably pickup cavity size isn't totally consistent in Sho-Buds, but I'd suggest if you get a hold of a George L pickup, try fitting it into the cavity upside down before cutting off any tabs.

I have a Sho Bud with a George L installed, pickup body measures 1-1/4" across. Not certain if this is their standard pickup or if they manufacture units with narrow mount bodies as well, may want to check with either them or Show Pro guitars (Show Pros also require narrow mounts).
