The point at which contemporary design meets traditional shapes, that is where this brand new 2016 Oxwood Handmade 00 resides. The Wenge-over-Bloodwood rosette and assymetrical headstock attest to Brad Daniels' fresh taste, lending this guitar an exciting flavor which complements the curves of the 00 body of Brazilian Rosewood and Lutz Spruce without dominating the otherall aesthetic.
Everything about this guitar works together in a smooth, harmonious flow; from looks to tone, this Oxwood is a well-oiled machine. The voice has exactly what you'd expect from a 00--a warm and buttery midrange, articulate bass, easy playability--but the treble strings set it apart from the 00 crowd. The B and E strings are crisp but not tinny, fat but not floppy, bubbling with overtones and sustain. Lesser 00s run the risk of sounding plunky and small, but this Oxwood 00 has the full-figured presence of a much larger guitar. Interested? Act fast: instruments of Daniels' calibre seldom linger for long.
