Hello everyone,
The San Antonio Steel Guitar Association will hold our monthly jam on Sunday, April 9th at the American Legion (Post 593) in Converse, TX. All steel players, (this means you), are invited to join us. Please be setup and tuned up for our 2:00 start. We play until 5:00 or the beer runs out (whichever happens first).
This month, we're sending a special invitation to those steel players who are new and, perhaps, never played with a backup band. If you know one tune, please come and join us (the backup band is at your disposal). Playing steel with a backup band is like crack, once you try it, you'll never go back.
We will also be selling raffle tickets ($1) on items from the Texas Steel Guitar Association Jamboree (t-shirts, license plate holders, etc).
Hope to see everyone at the jam.

Hi everyone,
Today is the day (Apr 9th) of our San Antonio Steel Guitar Association monthly jam. Our theme this month is, "This is my song". If you know just one song on the steel, pack that sucker up and come and join us at the jam. Special invitation to folks who aren't accustomed to playing with a backup band (and words can't describe the quality of our backup band). Bring your one song and be a star on our fabulous stage. I guarantee you'll have a good time.
American Legion, Post 593, in Converse TX. All steel players are cordially invited, regardless of skill level. We ask all players to be setup and tuned up and ready to go for our 2:00 start. We play until 5:00 and the Legion has tasty burgers and beverages available. There is a for-sale table for items and we will have a raffle for some souvenirs from the Dallas Steel Guitar Show.
