S 12 MSA, One of the very first ones built, it has the flat cross bars undreneath, had a D12 like it, built like e tank, almost as heavy, stays in tune forever.

If you look closely you can see the holes in the end plate like a push pull.

This is the underside of that guitar, not a good choice unless you have the ability/want to to convert it to round/square crossbars.

With that said, I played one like it for many years with no problems, some limits on complicated changes.

To Adam's "Someone else buy it, so I don't have to" -- Here's my find of the year, on the Guitar Center website. Yup it's a 1975 wide pedal, teardrop lever Sho-Bud Pro-I for a penny under $900. Very little use, even the case and leg bag look almost nwe. Just a few bar dings and scuff marks on the maple and endplates, and some minor lacquer loss along seam on the back of the cabinet (just thru the finish - joins are hard rock maple solid). But did I say $900? That's right. It's "student steel money." I had to buy it ... and I did!
