There is a body of a double neck Rickenbacker listed on ebay. There are no tuners, legs, pickups, fretboards, etc.
I am not into rebuilding steels at all, but I am curious how hard it would be to find parts to put it back into playable condition...does someone make pickups that would fit, tuners that would work, fretboards, etc. Might be more money and effort than it would be worth ? Any thoughts ? If you would rather pm me with your response, that is okay.

Thanks in advance.

Larry,
I've rebuilt a number of steels but I wouldn't care to take on this project.
I believe finding parts for this guitar would be like looking for a needle in a haystack. Whoa!

I am surprised this thread has not yet turned into one of those "Awful person Strips and sells Parts" Gripe Sessions.

This model of Console is one of the lowest cost to buy out there in good shape so not sure how difficult,
for certain easier to just buy a working instrument.

Larry,
I noticed that those parts for sale didn't include the horseshoe pickups. I have a good idea that the fellow sold the pickups off that guitar and is now trying to dispose of the rest of it.
