Paul,

That is from the 2106 Sweet Sounds of Jazz Summer Concert Series in Westfield, New Jersey, 5 venues every Tuesday night in July and August.

I'm proud to say that Jim will be back this summer as is Mike Near playing his Steelonius cd.

We will post times and dates in the Events Announcement section when we get closer.

Jim is an outstanding player!! Thanks for posting - Miss seeing Jim at the Denver shows!

Jim is also a great "country" pedal steel player. Great Cd "Cohen gone country"! I've almost wore my copy out!!

Cool Cool

Thanks, guys. That was a very fun gig and I was honored to be part of the jazz festival and to be returning again this year (on July 11; raindate is the 12th), with most of the same awesome players.

I'm especially delighted that Mike Neer is also on the festival this year! Slowly but surely, we steel players will encroach until there will be no more room for the horn players... Haha! Smile

Thanks to Craig for helping to make this all possible.

Jim

Jim is a long time friend and probably one of the most underrated steelers there is.

He can nail jazz or country to the wall.

Love ya Brother Jim.

Jim is definitely one of the players I'd love to sound like when I grow up.
