Have had and tried a few different brands, but must say that these Are really great. I just recently got a hold of the green one. I keep the red in G tuning(low D), and the green one in C6. Im considering getting one more if I can find one;-)
Would love a gold one too!

But again, awsome guitars!🙂

The red one looks like mine with a different pup.I've bought and sold other steels but still have my Melobar (almost 20 yrs)

I still have my old red LS - different pickup (it's a Bill Lawrence 250XL), but otherwise identical. I use it to play around with different tunings. Nicely made steel.

Yes...Melobars are great! But I'm working on raising $$ for a big leap into National guitars....so I'll be letting go of mine...let me know if anyone is interested...price will be whatever's fair...probably around $350?
