Dave,

I'm glad you took my advice and asked the camera person to get more of the STEEL PLAYER!

Nice work...what year is your steel? I see it has the round front on it.

Thanks guys. Don, I believe the Bud is a 1970. It had a total undercarriage rebuild done by Jeff Suratt before I got it and plays like a dream. Also has a narrow mount Wallace Truetone pickup.

I played an instrumental version of "After The Gold Rush" at a steel show years back. I wanted to throw something different in the mix. Its a beautiful melody line and was a lot of fun to play. Smile

Very nice, tasteful playing Dave and a really good sounding band. Smile

I was in a Neil Young Tribute band a few years ago and you're right, it is great fun music to play. Although we tended to "head for the ditch" and play the really dark miserable stuff. I think we did two gigs before personnel and commercial problems drove the whole project that way Wink
