Buddy played this with Ray Price and the C.C. , e.g. the Austin show which is on YouTube.
Anybody got tab for the first half?

Here's the link. Sounds the same as his E9th version but appears as he's on the C6th neck.

Yeah, there are similarities to the E9 version from "Expedition E9", but the C6 version is different. Elegant!

Mike Archer has tabbed it out on C6 and should have it available on dvd. Great work by Mike!

Dale Rivard also knows it. I've seen him play it on YouTube. I think he may give out lessons too.

If any of y'all are going to Dallas, I'll be glad to show you that version. It's relatively easy on C6th (made to order chords) and uses standard C6th setup. I won't have time to tab it out until after the Dallas show, but I will if you need it.
Later,

Larry, I also would love to see a tabbed version of this rendition. I was hoping to learn this song for Valentine's day, but did not make it. Still working on it. I'm using Herb Steiner's tab, but trying to get a bit more swing into it, but this version is the one I would like to learn. I feel like I should be able to figure it out - it is very much typical Buddy E. C6th swing... but no luck.

I just was going through some of my lessons, and found I have the Buddy Emmons, EXPO E9th, and it has this song in it. Then I have several more books, that I must have forgotten about. These are still available. I didn't remember the website, but I think if you just go Buddy Emmons, you'll find the guy that is selling these. WOW what a find. A steel friend of mine was here the other day, and going through my stuff, and he said "You should open a store." I guess maybe I do have to much, or is that possible?
