While so many of our friends were attending the awesome Dallas steel show, a few of us stayed behind to play the Best Little Cowboy Gathering this past week in La Grange, Texas. Duty called!

We had a grand time and it was great to be able to visit with and hear each other when it was possible.

It was interesting to note that all of the pedal steel players in attendance were playing Emmons push-pull guitars Wink

All of these guys are dear friends and heroes of mine and it was an honor to be in their midst.

Rick Price with Jake Hooker

Adam Goodale with Coby Carter

Nathan Fleming with Landon Dodd

Jim Loessberg with Jody Nix

Kenny Grohman with Rocky King

Yours truly with Jeff Woolsey and Billy Mata

Yep, Bill. Everyone pictured was playing an Emmons Original. Cool

Wish I could've been there....

Keep on pickin'!

I'm pretty sure the 'Wraparound per capita' in La Grange was heavily skewed for a few days, if not 'p/p per capita' Smile

In general, an abnormally high concentration for the area... Laughing

And 33.33% of the total PP population at the gathering... Wink
