I suppose it's just the nature of the beast, but my Rick is pretty noisey when played acoustically. Sounds great through an amp though! It seems to have a little rattle. Any other Model 100 owners find this to be the case?

I've gotten the same kind of thing with my SW6 Rick. Kinda rattely acoustically, but fine through the amp. The rattle is mostly down at the bridge end, but doesn't come through the amp.

Make sure both height adjustment screws are snug. They seem to slacken up a bit over time. I've also found a small piece of felt or matchbook cover shimmed in the slight gap between the horseshoe and the pickup surround does the trick
