I have only one album by him it is "Gate Of Dreams"and it's one of my favourites.
Rumours of his death were heard early in 2016, but much later confirmed in October.

Wes Bumpin' on Sunset (and the rest of the Tequila album), Breezin' by George Benson, so many more. He was unbelievably prolific. Not everyone is a fan of bringing in strings to jazz - especially jazz guitar - but Claus was the master, IMO.

It seems that one of the great arrangers for this kind and other genres of music has died this year.

No. Either I forgot the day of his death (I do not mean my post), or it wasn't as clearly stated. Anyway I remember that it was not in a thread about him, and not to many people may have read it.
