Young enough to eat peas by myself without spilling them.
Young enough to drive a D-Cab Tundra and keep the rubber side down. |

23 this July. Don't even have my learners' driver license, thank God it doesn't take a permit to use a steel guitar! |

Isn't that the truth, Lew. Welcome to the best little forum on the internet.
It's heartening for old geezers to see fresh faces. Your proper introduction earlier brings enthusiasm and looks like dedication. |

I see this "how old are you" thread got a lot more mileage than the "how much do you weigh" thread. Funny how that works. I guess not many wanted to talk about putting down the doughnuts. |

Usually I can't remember if i'm in my 70's or my 90's.
I've had 2 heart operations, a stroke, hernias, cataracts, arthritis, poor circulation,
blackouts, and memory loss.
Some days I have no feeling in my hands or feet. But......thank God I still have my drivers license!

HOW OLD WOULD YOU BE IF YOU DIDN,T KNOW HOW OLD YOU WERE?
Its never too late to climb the next step or turn the next corner in life.
My hat off to all the great folks on this forum I just found . It encouraged me to buy my first SD 10 GFI Ultra and get started. I waited all these years AFTER seeing Tex Ritter and his band play years ago when I was a child.. |

I want to ask some posters "How old are you?" sometimes. Just kidding. But I wouldn't be talking about old age in that case.... |

I'm 57 and started playing pedal steel about 2 years ago. It's true that most players are older, but I'm pretty gratified to have inspired two 30-somethings to pick up pedal steel in the past few months, one of whom is a mom of 4 boys. They (or their spouses) text me videos of them practicing every so often. _________________ Williams S12 Ext. E9 keyless, Williams S12 Ext.
