Hey thanks for the reminder Pete. I just sent the newsletter out so if you are a member and have not received it please send me an email or PM me here. Looking forward to seeing everyone again.

By now Dean Cahoon should have his ShowBud all assembled and ready to play. He's gonna need some pointers and we have lots of help for him. Bring it Dean!

I think we decided to work on "In the Garden" in either F or G.

Jim

Hey Guys,

Thanks to everyone for a great afternoon! I haven't played some of those songs in quite a while !!!

Peter Hart sounded GREAT on his Emmons S10, nice, nice tone.

Have to stop by again.

I agree with Harry`s description of Peter`s tone as well as his playing. I think the Roger Trahan and Harry Teachman rendition of "Pedal Patter" was the highlight of the day. The next meeting is June 4th. Mark your calendar for the annual steel show. It will be held on October 28, 2017.

We had a lot of fun at the meeting. I always find the song selections very challenging but a lot of fun! Thanks for the kind words on my guitar Harry and Manny. Tom Casella did a great job on it! Everybody did such a fine job at playing and pushing through the songs, even if they found the song difficult! That's great! I remember when I first started coming to the jams. I was scared out of my whits to play anything! Such a great group of people have been very encouraging over the years. Thank you all so much!!
New comers are more than welcome, I found that out!! Very Happy
