I have a triple neck, 26" scale Fender Stringmaster from 1954 that I'd like to sell. It's a "player's piece" and is priced as such. First, the good news... this guitar sounds incredible and has that special tone that can only be found in an early, LONG scale Stringmaster. Listen to "Loose Talk" or "There She Goes" by Carl Smith and you'll hear what I mean. This guitar has that tone in spades. The issues are this, a previous owner tried to add pedals to the middle neck so there are some holes through the tuning pan and body in that spot between the tuners and nut, as well as a few small screw holes that are barely noticeable under the guitar (the holes are about the size of the screws you would use to attach a pickguard), I assume from the same pedal conversion attempt. Lastly, there is a spot where I assume a cigarette was uncomfortably close to the underside of the guitar and some smoke damage made one corner turn brown. A non original case is included. I have used this guitar on the stage and in the studio and can attest to it being a great vintage Fender guitar.
$1100, plus shipping. I would prefer a local Nashville sale but am willing to ship within the US.

Cool old clips. I'm sure that'll be gone quick!
Interesting width of tone these guitars have, I've heard creamy Hawaiian on the same. |
