Is it possible to run a 4 ohm extension cabinet from a Nashville 112? I have a tonic's 12 installed and want to run a sica 12 inch neo cab _________________ Mullen G2 SD10 , Lil Izzy Buffer, Goodrich 120 volume pedal, Boss DD-7, Peterson Strobo flip, Peavey Nashville 112 |

No connection for external cab on the NV112, and you should not run a 4 ohm speaker in parallel with the NV112's own speaker as that would be "4 ohm & 4 ohm" = 2 ohm which will load the NV112's power-stage too hard. It will likely blow up the output transistors or (if you're lucky) just blow a fuse.
Disconnecting the NV112's own speaker and run the NV112's power-stage into an external 4 ohm speaker only, will of course work fine. Just need a connection (jack) added to the NV112 that will do the switching, or do it manually.
Running an external 4 ohm speaker in series with the NV112's own speaker for an 8 ohm load, will also work. Just need a connection (jack) added to the NV112 that will do the switching, or do it manually.
Note that series-connected speakers tend to sound less precise (more muddy) - especially if long (and/or thin) speaker cables are used. |

Sroll down a bit and read my reply to the Revelation preamp post, it contains a suggestion on running an extension cab from a Nashville 112 without any modifications. |
