Thanks Clark - that was a great performance!
Paul is just THE master at counterpoint, and this shows it in all its glory. |

It was a year ago on the 10th of February here in Santa Rosa that my wife and I were blessed to see the third to last concert of Merle's life. Sitting in the row behind us was former Strangers bassist Dennis Hromek and his wife, we had a nice conversation with them.
Thanks for sharing the video Clark, that's my favorite rendition of the song I have seen since Vince penned it last year.
In a career filled with amazing steel guitar performances, that is some of the finest playing I have ever come across from Paul. He is the king of nuance. And I loved that slant action around 2:20. _________________ Mark |

It's a downright shame that a song like that will never see airplay on the clear channel dominated airwaves. Down with corporate radio. _________________ D.S. Rigsby |

I see Paul using some beautiful sounding bar slants. Can someone please explain what he's doing? Great song. |

Vince and Paul did an outstanding job. To me the emotion in this song is up there with Go Rest High on a Mountain. |

I agree with all of you. I heard Go Rest High, todayon the radio. That song and World Without Haggard causes me to sob like a baby. Go Rest High, the heard day I heard was the day my Dad passed in 95. |
