Just purchased a Peavey ProFex II. Every time I turn it on, it says "outputs muted." Only way I can see to get it back to normal is the reset method (depressing play and global as it turn it on), which resets it to factory settings. I can see that I will not be able to store any of my settings if I have to reset it every time I turn it on. HELP!

Battery is dead for sure. You really need to get rid of that battery and make sure any and all leakage is cleaned from the front and back of the circuit board.

When the battery is dead you will lose all memory on power off. What happened is your battery finally got some charge from the power supply.

You need to leave it plugged in overnight to charge it to full capacity.

Be sure to check for battery leakage. Every battery used in these has or will leak eventually, no exception

Looks ugly! Thanks for the advice, Ken and Alan. I have ordered a new battery from Peavey.
