After hearing some of the world's best steel players, I feel a burst of energy. I've heard folks say things like "I'm gonna go home and burn my guitars" Realising that one will never be as good as those folks shouldn't stop you from continuing to try to improve. A friend and fellow music teacher, Glenna Switzer , shared a saying with me years ago. Went something like this. "It would be a quiet world if only the best birds were allowed to sing"
