Rare Olympic White Telecaster. This guitar has been loved. And played. And played. It's generally original, and almost exclusively '69. The '69 bridge pickup did not come on *this* guitar when I bought it, but it is a 1969 Tele bridge pickup. The neck pickup was rewound by Sayoko Kuwabara (Fujigen, Japan & Fender Custom Shop - now she has her own line of pickups). The only parts that are not from a '69 Tele are an "aged" pickguard and a replacement switch. The old switch comes with the guitar.
The neck has been re-fretted. Correctly. No finish gone, no tricks with the radius. It feels like a comfortable C. The guitar is strung with Pyramid .011s. There is a very slight bow in the neck, but the .011s provide the needed relief..
Case is a 1963-1964 "no logo" case, in very good shape but the handle leather is worn. These cases have sold for $500 or more by themselves...
Shipping cost will include insurance for the value of the sales price. SOLD
