Not that I'm aware of. It would require larger plugs as the cable size would be much bigger on speaker cable. (Generally 16 gauge for short runs, larger cable for longer runs).

Jack, I did not think so either, but I was at a steel player friends home the other day (he has several rack mount units including a couple of stereo steel, we were discussing cables and he showed me his cable that he has been using for years and it was the George L guitar cable. He said that he has never had any problem....thanks jack

I see. I've known some people that do use the Gl's guitar cable for speaker cables, but I wouldn't recommend it...I certainly wouldn't use it myself. Speaker cable needs to be 2 equal size runs in pairs unlike shielded guitar cable.

Jerry, I agree, I usually build my own cables. Just thought if George L built any cables and ends I would give them a try....thanks jack

Jack -

A few months ago, I purchased about 20 of the speaker wire connectors (and small reel of speaker wire) shown in the above photo from a music store that was going out of business. Speaker wire connectors were set into the foam on top of the George L display rack, with reel of speaker wire on bottom of George L display rack. These speaker wire connectors work in the same manner George L connectors are used for guitar cable.

I've used them for speaker cable and they work.

Should you desire additional info, please email me thru Forum's email ption.

Regards
Ron
